Introduction

As Managing Director of BTS it is my pleasure to invite you to the mystical realm of Bhutan. I welcome you, frankly, not only because I am in the tourism business but, more importantly, because I make - excuse the expression - an offer you do not want to refuse. Over the 12 years that I have been in the business, feedback from our guests indicates that there have been no disappointments.

The company I manage is a small one for a reason. As some one who has had the opportunity to travel all across the globe I understand and cherish the value of personalised tourism. I believe - perhaps rabidly - that meeting new people and learning from them makes my world that much the larger. Hopefully, you feel similarly. My business is my business; it is also my passion. I am, therefore, intensely involved in almost every tour my company undertakes.

There is another reason for this. Experience tells me that, as unique in its entirety as Bhutan is, visitors to the country derive greater satisfaction if attended to by their guides as well as by the company management.
